The following comments were received as a result of one of the poems
that I published to the site.
Way to go Bill, Loved that brother Rob
Dear Bill, This
was a tremendous blessing to read. I, too, get so discouraged at times when thinking of the loved ones I hurt by my sin. Oh
may God bring much healing and restoration to you and me, and those we injured. God bless you my brother.
Awesome
poem, brother! God bless you today, Dick Davis

The following is an interactive email response between Louis and myself.
Louis Your statement: I love my family. However, I am a slave to pornography. Thank God
I found this site. I think I have lost my self esteem or becomming a strong leader in my family. Please Lord Help me. How
can I get out of this?
My suggestion: First of all go to your wife and ask her forgiveness for exposing
her to your addictive garbage (your word) Then ask her to help you find a good Christian counselor and another person (possibly
your pastor) to whom you can make yourself accountable.
Your statement: I am a man full of potential
but I am struggling to fight evil pleasures. I recentely showed my wife pornographic materials and now I feel so guilty and
ashamed. Please Lord help me. I am very sick of it. Why have I exposed my wife to dirty garbage. I do not want any of my sick
addiction jepordising my relationship with my family.
My answer: Again I say seek your wife's forgiveness.
To do so, you must be able to show her that you are willing to do whatever it takes to become clean again.
Your
Statement: How can I do this? Why doesn't the Lord help. Does he wait for me to break my family apart until I realize
this horrible addiction.
My answer: The Lord has given you all the help you need. In the first place,
he has given you the written word. The Bible says to study to show yourself approved unto God; rightly dividing the word of
truth. Secondly, He has given His Son to die for your sins and mine. Finally, He has given you the Holy Spirit (if you are
a Christian) to dwell within you and be your guide and comforter. What more can He possibly give?
Your question:
How can I shift my thinking?
My answer: Romans 12:1-2 says, 1 I beseech you therefore, brethren,
by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable
service. 2 And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what
is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.
Read all of Romans, Chapters 1 thru 3 for starters. Then if you
are truly sick of your life of addiction, The website that you are reading was inspired by the Holy Spirit, as He was bringing
me out of sexual addiction. I add the URL for your benefit and pray that you will come here often when tempted to indulge
in pornography.
The following are letters that I have receive in response
to this website
This was from the CEO of a ministry site that I mentored on
Dear Bill, Great to meet you and
thanks for contacting us and saying hello. I enjoyed your website and am hoping that God will use it for His glory and your
good. What day are you on in the Pure Freedom course so far? Again, Lord bless you in your ministry brother. grace, Mike
Mike,
I thank for your letter. I'm glad that the web site meets your approval.....It is my prayer also that many will find healing
of mind and spirit through these pages.
I am Complete with the required 60 day course and am prsently working with
three men who have sought your site for help.
I would be happy to link to your site. The link will on the page in which
I discuss pronography.
May God richly bless you in Christ-centered ministry. Bill
NOTE:
Mike's Web Site is settingcaptivesfree.com and is devoted to setting men and women free through the power of God, who are
caught up in various forms of addictive behavior.
I was a victim to this behavor as a child for 9 years. Because of sick behavior that others inflict on children, they
will shape their lives for destruction. It takes a lot for a victim to forgive, then to realize it was not thier fault. Thats
when healing starts. The next step any one needs to do in their life is to accept Jesus as their Savior and live a life in
likeness to Him. Then the world changes.
Thank You for having this site available to people that are living in bondage
to help them with a STEP UP! This an opportunity for abusers to realize they are not alone and they need not live in shame.
By giving it to the Lord, He will make you strong. He will set you FREE! Then you can break the chains that bind you.
The Bible says in John 5:25 "Verily, verily, I say unto you, The hour is coming, and now is, when the dead shall hear
the voice of the Son of God: and they that hear shall live." I pray that those men and women who come across your site will
be convicted and hear the voice of God. There is salvation in Christ and nothing or no-one else can cleanse us from the sins
of our past like He does. May God bless you in your outreach to others.
This a good site. I can see the Lord has been working in your life. Keep Him in everything you do and you will be able
to overcome the schemes of the enemy of your soul.
As one who was molested as a teenager I have carried a hatred in
my heart for my victimizer which has kept me in bondage to that individual for many years. It has been through websites like
yours that I have come to find that forgiveness is for my benifit, so that God can forgive me of my sins as well.
I have been involved wih pornography for many years and when I came to this site, I was thinking that I might find release
from this dreadful addiction. I have come to the realization that there is no easy way out of any addiction. If we have God
on our side though, the road back seems more bearable. Thank you for your frankness. It woke me up.
As I looked through your site, I was impressed by the candor you used in covering such a terrible blight on humanity.
You have presented the facts in a way that will be useful to those who go through the information with the desire to find
freedom from sexual sin.
Keep up the good work.
I saw this web site in one of the coments at settingcaptivesfree.com.
I am very impressed at the detail you have given to freedom through Christ our Savior. I too was a sexual addict and I know
that without Christ I would have been lost forever in my perversion.
Keep up the good work.
I thank God for your wonderful ministry!
I was referred to your site through the Cry for Help web site.
I too have been struggling to find freedom from sexual sins in my life. I now realize after reading your site, that the only
way to freedom is through prayer and seeking the Lord. I study my Bible daily, but somehow your web site has brought new meaning
to what I read.
God bless you and I hope that many others will be lead to this site.
I have briefly looked over the pages of this site and bookmarked it so I can return to it to do the complete study.
I have needed a program like this for a long time.
This is one of the few Bible based programs for sex offenders that I've found on the net.
You think that your so smart about pornography. I can't see where it hurts anybody. It sure hasn't hurt me.
My
Comment to jughead
I can see that you have never been in the position where you've had to face those that
you love and respect. I challange you to face your mother and dad and tell them that pornography doesn't hurt anyone.
As
I stated on the web site, pornography plays a tremendous part in men and women becoming sexual addicts. Even if you never
hurt anyone else personally, what about the damage that you are bringing on yourself by polluting your mind with that hellish
garbage.
We are instructed in God's word to put on the mind of Christ. To do this, we must put away lusting with the
eyes. Pornography is a form of lusting in the strictest sense. As we continue this practice, it becomes our lifestyle, which
is not Godly but of this world.
I'm sorry to say it, but even the name you have picked for yourself indicates that
you will probably not hear what I have said. However, if this note reaches the heart of someone else, to turn them from this
sinful act, then I thank you for your post.
